Focused Advocates for Choice and Empowering Solutions is a grass roots group of parents and adults with developmental disabilities (DD).  We have united to advocate and lobby for system change in order to better serve our constituency by allowing holistic planning for people with DD to live as independently as possible with supports provided by and in their own communities. 

We hope that on our website you will find sources to help you find solutions for your family member with developmental disabilities (DD);  Ideas on how to help reform the system that now delivers support services; and a new way to become civically involved by working to help make system change so that fewer dollars serve a greater number of truly deserving American citizens who just happen to have different abilities than the mainstream.
